Pump expertise built for critical systems.
Since 2002, RMS Pump has supported Oregon and Washington with new pump-system sales and engineering, field service, repair, and maintenance.
Who RMS Is Today
New-system engineering and technical service for the pumps facilities depend on.
RMS combines sales and engineering for new pump systems with field troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, controls knowledge, and system upgrades. Decades of hands-on pump experience inform both planned projects and the work of restoring reliable operation.
What RMS Is Capable Of
New-system sales and engineering alongside field service, repair, controls, and maintenance.
RMS supports planned pump systems and existing equipment from technical requirements through service, repair, testing, and future maintenance planning.
Sales and engineering support for planned pump systems, operating duty, equipment, controls, and project requirements.
Field troubleshootingEvaluate operating symptoms, hydraulic conditions, electrical load, controls behavior, pressure, flow, vibration, leakage, and drawdown.
Repair and rebuild supportInspect pump condition, identify verified wear or damage, and return equipment to service with practical testing and documentation.
Controls and VFD reviewConnect sensor, alarm, sequencing, staging, and VFD behavior to the actual pump and system condition in the field.
Industries and Systems Served
Municipal, wastewater, commercial, domestic-water, fire-protection, and specialty pump applications.
RMS evaluates pumps, controls, piping, and operating conditions together to identify what is limiting reliable performance.
Technical experience
- Sales and engineering for new pump systems serving municipal, commercial, and critical facilities
- Lift stations, pump stations, booster systems, vertical turbines, and mechanical-room pumps
- Troubleshooting for reduced capacity, unstable pressure, alarms, overload trips, vibration, leakage, and short cycling
- Repair decisions grounded in field observations, operating current, pressure, controls behavior, and direct inspection
- Preventative maintenance documentation that helps owners recognize condition changes earlier
- Oregon and Washington service support with published procurement identifiers

Company History
Experience you can trust.
RMS Pump was started in 2002 by Jon Repp and Larry McQuaw. Jon was a second-generation pump mechanic, he spent 13 years working with his father at Queen Pump Company before he went to work at PACO Pumps in Portland Oregon. It is there where he met Larry McQuaw. Larry had 4 years in the US Air Force operating sewage and water plants and 29 years at PACO before he and Jon met. Jon and Larry spent the next 12 years working side by side before parting ways with PACO and starting RMS Pump.
At RMS we work with many companies all over the State of Oregon and Washington, including fire protection companies, government agencies, municipalities, apartment complexes, sewage and domestic water.
